Use of Mailchimp

We use the Mailchimp service, a newsletter platform provided by

Intuit Inc., 2700 Coast Avenue, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, to send our newsletter.

Mailchimp processes personal data (e.g. email address, IP address, time of registration and statistical data on the use of the newsletter) on our behalf. This may involve the transfer of your data to the USA. Mailchimp is obliged to protect your data in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations and uses it exclusively for sending and evaluating the newsletter.

Mailchimp uses statistical evaluations (e.g. opening rates, click behaviour) to give us insights into the reading behaviour of recipients and to improve our offering. This data is evaluated anonymously.

Mailchimp is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Where personal data is transferred, this is done on the basis of standard contractual clauses in accordance with Art. 16(2)(d) of the GDPR.
